The fenced off (yay!) and cute-as-a-button old Queenslander of Paddock Bakery is a regular haunt of many a Gold Coast mother, known for their dippy eggs with sourdough soldiers that never fail. In fact, there are probably a few Gold Coast mum’s still talking about that one time last December when the youngsters were offered Christmas baking.   Black men were recruited from Britain's African colonies including Gambia, the Gold Coast, Nigeria, and Sierra Leone - a total of more than , Black African men. In the Korean War, S. Korean soldiers unearth the ancient Silla treasure containing billions of dollars worth of precious stones, gold and a crown worth millions. This book seeks to tell the story of the parts played by the key institution of Achimota College, in the Gold Coast, now Ghana, during the Second World War. Achimota College was the headquarters of the West Africa command, from where the Royal West African frontier force was organised. Secondly, British resident ministers, sent to the Gold Coast by Churchill's government to coordinate the war.

The trade in gold with the Europeans makes possible the development in the early 17th century of Akwamu, the first African state to control an extensive part of the coast. During the 18th century the dominance of Akwamu is replaced by that of a much more powerful group, the Ashanti, with their capital inland at Kumasi.   Steve Quayle and Tim Alberino have recently launched GenSix Productions, a film production company dedicated to dealing with the contemporary implications of the Genesis 6 .
